CEO & Co-Founder

Simo Kubheka

London, UK Cape Town, SA

Simo is your typical hands-on Chief Executive Officer who has worked over 18 years in the Human Capital and IT services sector overseeing compliance and legal risk.

Simo has overseen compliance and legal for business in the DACH, Nordics, Southern Europe, North America, LatAm (Brazil, Mexico and Colombia) as well as Asia (specifically Hong Kong, China, Japan, and Singapore, in the following roles; Chief Compliance Officer (K2), Director of Compliance & Risk (Allegis & AC EMEA)

Head of Legal, Compliance & Risk (Aston Carter), Compliance & Operations Manager (Adecco). And strategically currently support other companies in the above roles.

Simo is a Compliance and Legal professional with UK and South African qualifications. He has a Masters in International Business Law and Taxation. Speaks fluent English and Swedish, and has working-level proficiency in French, Norwegian and Danish.

COO & Co-Founder

Yasmina Kubheka, MBA

London, UK Cape Town, SA

Yasmina Kubheka is co-founder of AVUKE Group and Head of Operations. As Head of Operations she enjoys ensuring that things runs smoothly and creates operational strategies to secure the functionality of the business is in line with AVUKE's business strategy.

Yasmina comes from a background of Supply Chain and Account Management.

She has international experience in Business Intelligence, Chemical Industry and the Wine Industry.

Yasmina holds an MBA with International Business focus, MA in International Relations, BA in Political Science, and a Green Belt in Six Sigma. She speaks fluent English and Swedish, and has working-level proficiency in Norwegian and Danish.

Managing Partner

Luca Carbone

Rome, IT

As Managing Partner Luca is responsible for successful leadership and management to maintain and grow AVUKE's business.

Luca has extensive experience in providing legal consulting services for private corporations and contracting authorities, both in the private and public sector. Furthermore he has been practicing litigation between contracting authorities and private contractors before national Courts and Arbitration Panels. And engaged in A.D.R. procedures.

Luca is a legal professional with Italian and U.K. qualifications. He has a Master in International and Comparative Business Law.

Business Development Lead

Ben Gama Paulo

London, UK

Ben Paulo is a seasoned Business Development Executive, bringing a wealth of international experience across diverse industries including technology, oil and gas, and compliance services. With a proven track record in global markets such as the UK, UAE, and Africa, Ben excels in strategic problem-solving and driving business growth.

Prior to joining Avuke Group, Ben held pivotal roles at prestigious companies like LinkedIn, Dell Technologies, Verkada and People 2.0 (formerly TCP Solutions). His expertise spans enterprise software, compliance services, cloud computing, and IT infrastructure, working with business leaders from some of the world’s leading enterprises to help solve complex business challenges.

Ben also has a strong background in compliance services, having worked for People 2.0 (formerly TCP Solutions), where he successfully grew new business relationships across multiple European countries.

Ben holds a Master of Science in Technology Entrepreneurship from University College London and a Bachelor of Science in Applied Geology from the University of Plymouth.
