Our CEO built his career in the trenches — combining commercial expertise and risk management — and saw the need to change how legal and compliance support business growth. Working closely with management and C‑suite leaders, he developed innovative strategies that drive execution and expand market reach.
Together with his co‑founder, he launched AVUKE to deliver real-world solutions that bridge commercial execution and legal risk.

Simo Kubheka
Co-Founder | CEO

Simo Kubheka is the Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder of AVUKE Group, bringing over 20 years of global experience in the Human Capital, Legal, and IT services sectors. Simo has held senior and executive roles in leading multinational companies, including serving as Chief Compliance Officer at K2 Partnering Solutions, Director of Compliance & Risk at Allegis Group and AC EMEA, Head of Legal, Compliance & Risk at Aston Carter, and Compliance & Operations Manager at Adecco. In these capacities, he has led global compliance programmes, managed cross-border legal risk, and built high-performing legal and risk teams across multiple jurisdictions. Simo’s international expertise spans key markets including the UK, DACH region, Nordics, Southern Europe, North America, and Latin America (notably Brazil, Mexico, and Colombia), as well as major Asian economies such as Hong Kong, China, Japan, and Singapore. His ability to translate complex regulatory frameworks into pragmatic business policies has earned him recognition as a strategic advisor to C-suite executives and boards. He holds a Master’s in International Business Law and Taxation and is qualified in both the UK and South Africa. Multilingual and culturally fluent, Simo speaks English and Swedish fluently and has working-level proficiency in French, Norwegian, and Danish.

Yasmina Kubheka
Co-Founder | COO

Yasmina Kubheka is the Co-Founder and Head of Operations at AVUKE Group, where she is responsible for overseeing the firm’s day-to-day operational performance and driving strategic initiatives that support the company’s long-term vision. Drawing on more than a decade of global experience, Yasmina brings a diverse professional background in supply chain management, business intelligence, project management and client operations. She has held senior positions including Supply Chain Manager, Account Manager, and Customer Service Manager, working across various industries such as chemicals, business analytics, and viticulture. Her leadership style is collaborative and systems-oriented, with a focus on creating scalable, high-performance processes that enable AVUKE’s teams to deliver exceptional outcomes for clients. Yasmina holds an MBA in International Business, an MA in International Relations, and a BA in Political Science. She is also certified as a Six Sigma Green Belt. She is fluent in English and Swedish, with working-level proficiency in both Norwegian and Danish.
David Korthals-Clarke
Account Manager | UK & Europe

David is our Account Manager for the UK and mainland Europe. He has a robust legal and compliance background and ten plus years of experience in the recruitment and IT services industry. He is very passionate about translating legal challenges into pragmatic business solutions. David is a former Head of Compliance for both the IN Group and Salt. In these positions he obtained first-hand experience of how businesses are affected by regulatory change and successfully implement pragmatic policies and procedures to smoothen business operations and mitigate risk across various European countries. David previously held the position of Commercial Contracts Manager at Allegis Group, where he was responsible for overseeing the full lifecycle of commercial agreements, including drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and providing strategic legal guidance on a broad portfolio of contracts. David is fluent in both English and Dutch, with working-level proficiency in German. He holds legal qualifications across the Netherlands, the United Kingdom, and New Zealand, and earned a Master’s degree in Corporate and Commercial Law.
